Medini North, Iskandar Malaysia, Daerah Johor Bahru, Johore, Malaysia A 7.2-hectare mixed development with a gross floor area of 0.25 million square metres to include: • office lots • retail outlets • apartments Works will include: • internal road network • drainage system • main water supply reticulation Mechanical and electrical works will include: • air-conditioning systems • lift installation • fire-fighting systems • plumbing and sanitary • wiring and electrical fittings • interior, common and outdoor lightings Proposed building elements will include: • reinforced-concrete foundation and framework • concrete flat slab roofing • drywall partitions • mineral fibre board/fibrous plaster ceiling/drywall ceiling/metal ceilings • concrete shear walls/hollow-block concrete walls • masonry brick walls with plaster and emulsion paint finishes • powder-coated aluminium panel windows • timber/adjustable/fixed glass louvers • decorative timber flush doors • casement/frameless sliding glass doors • partial and full-height ceramic wall tiles • parquet/timber strip/laminated timber flooring • cement screed/pebble wash/homogeneous/porcelain/ceramic tile flooring BCI estimated costs: (US$285.71 mn). Construction is expected to start in the third quarter 2013. Construction is expected to end in the third quarter 2018. The project will be developed over a five-year period with a gross development value (GDV) of RM 1.5 bn.
