Nusajaya, Nusajaya, Johor Bahru, Johore, Malaysia A 108-hectare (270-acre) integrated, multi-purpose hub development with about 778,302 square metres (8.25 mn square feet) of gross floor area (GFA), to include: • a 4.5-kilometre-long Grade 2 GT double-loop circuit • a 1.2-kilometre-long kart circuit and off-road circuit for drag racing, karting, motorcycling, truck racing and off-road expeditions • car showrooms • a driving school • workshops • automotive related trades and activities with emphasis on 4S i.e. sales, service, spare parts and system • bonded warehouses/garages • motor sport research and development centres • museum and collector storage facilities • weekend homes, a clubhouse, a car bar, and other food and beverage (F&B) and entertainment outlets Other facilities include: • corporate events • conferences • motoring exhibitions Over time, the land will be allocated for the construction of a mini-township, comprising houses, apartments, shopping malls and other amenities. Estimated costs: RM2.00 bn (US$571.43 mn). Construction is expected to start in the fourth quarter 2013. Construction is expected to end in the third quarter 2016. Design study and project planning is underway. |
