A three-star hospitality development, on part of a 24,200-square-metre site, to include a 12-storey tower with 168 guestrooms.

Facilities will include:

• an administrative office
• a reception area with an information counter
• a guests' waiting area
• a banquet hall
• meeting rooms
• a restaurant with a dining area
• swimming and wading pools
• a gymnasium and a spa
• indoor and outdoor games courts
• a utility room
• a store room

Mechanical and electrical works will include:

• air-conditioning system
• lift installation
• telecommunication systems
• closed-circuit television cameras (CCTV)
• fire-fighting systems
• plumbing and sanitary
• lighting fittings

Building elements include:

• reinforced-concrete foundation and framework
• concrete flat slab roof
• brick walls with concrete shear panels
• full-height glass wall panels
• aluminium casement windows and louvers
• timber flush, swing and sliding casement glass doors
• ceramic tiles flooring

Estimated costs: RM67.00 mn (US$19.14 mn).

Construction is expected to start in the fourth quarter 2012. Construction is expected to end in the fourth quarter 2013.
